The Master Scuba Diver Rating is the highest non-professional PADI certification. Become a Master Scuba Diver and you will join an elite group of divers who have earned this rating through both significant experience and scuba training. Fewer than two percent of divers ever achieve this rating.

​To apply for the Master Scuba Diver certification, you must be at least 12 years old, a PADI Rescue Diver (or equivalent from another training organisation), have completed at least 5 PADI Specialty courses and have a minimum of 50 logged dives.
