- Self rescue
- Recognizing and managing stress in other divers
- Emergency management and equipment
- Rescuing panicked divers
- Rescuing unresponsive divers
PADI Rescue Divers are qualified to:
- Dive to 30m in a buddy team.
- Obtain air fills, rent or purchase scuba equipment and participate in dive activities as long as properly supervised.

- Approx 2-3 days

- 10 Rescue exercises
- 2 Rescue scenarios in open water
Pre-requisites:
- PADI Adventure Diver (must have completed the Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive)
- Emergency First Responder Primary & Secondary within 2 years ($395 FJD Approx 1-2 days)
- 12 years old
- Be in good physical health (guests wishing to participate in a PADI dive course must be fit for diving according to the RSTC PADI Medical statement)
