PADI Underwater Navigator

Why should I take this course?
Be the scuba diver that everyone wants to dive with because you know where you are and where you are going. This course fine tunes your observation skills and teaches you to more accurately use your compass underwater. If you like challenges with big rewards, take this course and have fun finding your way.


What will you learn?
You will learn how to navigate using natural clues and by following compass headings. During 3 open water dives you will practice:
  • Methods to estimate distance underwater
  • Compass navigation whilst making at least 5 turns
  • Marking or relocating a submerged object or position from the surface
  • Underwater map making

​The first dive of this PADI Specialty Diver course may credit as an Adventure Dive toward your Advanced Open Water Diver certification – ask your instructor about earning credit.

Duration:
  • 3 open water dives - approx 1-2 days
Pre-requisites:
  • PADI Open Water Diver
  • 10 years old
  • Be in good physical health  (guests wishing to participate in a PADI dive course must be fit for diving according to the RSTC PADI Medical statement)​
Cost:​
