Having tanks on your back is not a requirement for exploring the underwater world. Sidemount diving gives you flexibility and streamlining options. This course is ideal for divers who struggle to make their air last! Plus, you don't have to worry about walking with heavy cylinders on your back - just enter the water and clip them on at the surface!

- Properly assemble and configure sidemount scuba equipment
- Trim your weight system and sidemount gear so you are perfectly balanced in the water
- Manage gas by switching second stages as planned, if wearing two cylinders
The first dive of this PADI Specialty Diver course may credit as an Adventure Dive toward your Advanced Open Water Diver certification – ask your instructor about earning credit.

Dives & Duration:
- 1 confined and 3 open water dives - approx 2-3 days
Pre-requisites:
- PADI Open Water Diver
- 15 years old
- Be in good physical health (guests wishing to participate in a PADI dive course must be fit for diving according to the RSTC PADI Medical statement)
