PADI Sidemount Diver

Picture

Why should I do this course?
Having tanks on your back is not a requirement for exploring the underwater world.  Sidemount diving gives you flexibility and streamlining options. This course is ideal for  divers who struggle to make their air last! Plus, you don't have to worry about walking  with heavy cylinders on your back - just enter the water and clip them on at the  surface!

What you will learn:
Along with learning the many benefits of diving with a sidemount configuration, during your course you will learn to:
  • Properly assemble and configure sidemount scuba equipment
  • Trim your weight system and sidemount gear so you are perfectly balanced in the water
  • Manage gas by switching second stages as planned, if wearing two cylinders

The first dive of this PADI Specialty Diver course may credit as an Adventure Dive toward your Advanced Open Water Diver certification – ask your instructor about earning credit.

Whats included:
  • All scuba equipment
  • Any additional required equipment
  • Wetsuit (if required)
